PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
This position provides electrical engineering of power and lighting systems for institutional, retail, and commercial building projects.
Prepare Calculations and Well Coordinated and Technically Sound Construction Documents that are Cost Effective, Clear, and Efficient
Communicate and Coordinate with Architects, Owners, other Engineering Disciplines, Vendors, Building Officials throughout the Design Phases of a Project
Monitor Project Budgets and Overall Responsibility for the Profitability of His/Her Project
Handle Contract Administration
Prepare or Direct Preparation and Modification of Reports, Specifications, Plans, Construction Schedules, and Designs for Project
Attend Construction Site Visits to Monitor Progress and other Duties Per the Contract Documents
Review Shop Drawings
Respond to RFI's and Coordinate with Contractors, Design Team, Building Officials, and Owners throughout the Construction Phase of the Project
preferred requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
3+ years of electrical engineering experience
Proficient in use of AutoCAD and REVIT MEP
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Strong electrical design capability in commercial, education, and institutional markets
Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality of work
Self-manager to accomplish multiple project responsibilities
Continuous practice of personal accountability
Knowledge of current Electrical codes and design standards
