Topping the Roof of The Watermark Tempe

After years of planning, The Watermark, located on the north bank of Tempe Town Lake, is finally coming to fruition. ESD, in collaboration with Fenix Development, Nelsen Partners, Okland Construction, Hayes Mechanical Inc., and PK Associates LLC is responsible for MEP engineering designs for the 15-acre, mixed-use space. Eventually, the 2.2 Million GSF will contain office space and 63.5KSF of commercial space, as well as 993 multifamily units and 251 hotel rooms. Recently, the design team celebrated the gratifying feat of roof topping off the notable mixed-use project.

This mega-project reflects the future of Tempe, which has proven over the years that it is only continuing to expand in job and population growth, and has the potential to become a major metropolitan area. The Watermark will not only provide housing, retail and workspace, but will also deliver a stunning addition to Tempe’s newly emerging skyline.
