Employee Milestones for ESD

Spotlights.png

ESD's engineers and designers are consistently displaying their passion and determination for the MEP industry, and we are always proud of their accomplishments and milestones. Cole North P.E., Evan Veregge LEED AP, and Laith Award EIT have recently earned new titles through their efforts for continued growth.

Evan has earned his LEED® AP BD+C title and works in our Mechanical Department. A LEED Accredited Professional such as Evan demonstrates a dedication and passion for a sustainable future, and these individuals specialize in technologically innovative and eco-friendly MEP designs. The BD+C in his title represents ‘Building Design and Construction’, which primarily focuses on LEED® designs for new construction, core and shell, and schools. ESD now has 8 LEED Accredited Professionals in our company.

Cole has recently passed the Professional Engineering (PE) exam and is officially a Mechanical Professional Engineer. Along with the exam, Cole also had to earn his four-year degree in engineering from ASU, as well as complete four years of progressive engineering experience under an ESD Professional Engineer. According to the National Society of Professional Engineers, being “recognized as a PE to a client means you have the credentials to earn their trust. To an employer, it signals your ability to take on a higher level of responsibility. Among your colleagues, it demands respect. To yourself, it's a symbol of pride and measure of your own hard-won achievement.” ESD is very proud to say we have earned one more engineer; who is dedicated and passionate when it comes to mechanical designs.

Laith is now an Engineer in Training, after passing the Engineer in Training exam, also known as the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. The Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a fantastic step to becoming a Professional Engineer in the future.
