Giving Back to Our Communities

ESD values our local communities and strives to give back each year to causes close to our hearts. We are proud to support local colleges and K-12 schools in their efforts to educate students about the importance of environmental best practices, social responsibility and a more sustainable future. Since 2007, ESD continues to provide an annual scholarship to Glendale Community College for students enrolled in GCC’s CAD program. In addition to regularly hosting MONTHLY USGBC ARIZONA - GREEN SCHOOL MEETINGS, we recently participated in USGBC’s 2019 Green Apple Day of Service by spending a day with the Kindergarteners of Gateway Polytechnic Academy to enhance their knowledge of reducing, reusing, and recycling. Additionally, our involvement in Phoenix Community Alliance’s Education Committee has helped not only in the development of the HIGH RISING SCHOOLS OF PHOENIX campaign, which focuses on the incredible learning institutions, but also has focused on collaborating and connecting them with the wonderful business partnerships we have to offer Downtown.

And as one final note, ESD has matched our employee’s monetary donations to several local organizations and charities such as HopeKids, Eagles United Soccer Club and ARCADIA HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS in efforts to encourage donors and provide support to those in need.
