Salt River Project (SRP) - Project Administration Building, Tempe, AZ | Corgan | Mortenson
ESD is providing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering for the Salt River Project (SRP) - Project Administration Building, Betterment Project; a complete renovation, addition and restack of 430,000 SF Project Administration Building (PAB) including replacement of all MEP and life safety systems, new kitchen and cafeteria, and complete reformat of interior circulation. This project also included construction of a 5-story 80,000 square foot expansion, 40,000 square foot 3-story replacement expansion, major expansion of the site Chiller Plant Building, new 3,000 square foot Storage Building, a new Vehicle Maintenance Facility, new 800 stall four level Parking Garage. Also completed were tenant improvement modifications to the existing 120,000 square foot Credit Union building, underground site utility replacement, LEED® services (pending Gold certification) and energy modeling. ESD was required to maintain all critical electrical and mechanical systems throughout the project until their phased replacement. The PAB includes multi-use space and is the central location for SRP’s critical business operations which employs over 1,000 people.
