In The Works: Block 23

ESD has completed the MEP engineering designs for the monumental Block 23 project. This development will include a mixed-use high rise with a grocery store in Downtown Phoenix. Not only will it include a 10-story, 330 apartment residential tower, but will also contain 155,000 SF of creative office space, 68,000 SF of retail and plenty of parking for residents and the community. The ground level will consist of a modern Fry’s grocery store, which locals are thrilled due to it being the first walkable grocery store in the area. Block 23 is expected to be completed in the early months of 2019, and is already being described as a metropolitan game-changer due to its accessibility, liveliness and aesthetic for Downtown Phoenix.
