Tempe Omni Hotel nears completion

The new $75 million Omni Hotel, located at Mill and University in Tempe, is well on its way to completion. The full service hotel will be 265,000 gross square feet, including a full kitchen, lounge, gift shop, fitness center and full amenity deck equipped with swimming pools and an outdoor bar. Additionally, there will be 38,000 square feet of ballrooms and meeting space. The “high rise” building will have rooftop amenities and 7,000 SF of restaurant/bar space.  The hotel is anticipated to be LEED Silver Certified, therefore ESD performed Energy Analysis and LEED® design services alongside the MEP design phase.  

ESD is providing the MEP designs for a new Omni hotel, located in Downtown Tempe. This 265,000 GSF, 16-story luxury hotel with 330 keys is expected to have a total construction cost budget of $75 million. Additionally, 42,000 SF of ballroom, conference room and function space will be incorporated into the hotel as well. The “high rise” building will have rooftop amenities and 7,000 SF of restaurant/bar space.  The hotel is also expected to be LEED Silver Certified, therefore ESD also performed Energy Analysis and LEED® design services during the Design Phase.
