Transformation of the Peoria City Complex
The City of Peoria City Complex faced many ongoing challenges over the years, including water quality issues at their cooling tower and costly inefficient and failing chiller compressors. ESD coordinated a detailed, phased construction plan and worked under the constraints of space limitations, noise issues, and project budget for the new cooling system; in collaboration with DFDG Architecture, Logan Simpson, Haydon BC, and TD Industries Inc.
ESD was able to implement new cooling towers, new pumping, and nanofiltration systems which save energy and approximately 2 million gallons of water per year. Despite the challenges of the project, we still completed the project under budget and ahead of schedule.
